From Europe to Africa: Forglass completes float furnace hot repair project in Egypt

Forglass has successfully completed another international hot repair project for a float glass manufacturer in Egypt, further expanding its international portfolio of furnace repair services for the global glass industry.

The project involved the hot overcoating of the entire float furnace, one of the most demanding types of hot repair work in the glass industry. Successful execution required detailed planning, precise coordination and efficient management of all on-site activities to ensure the work was completed safely and according to schedule.

A team of 115 hot repair specialists was mobilized for the project, with every stage of the repair carried out in accordance with the highest quality and safety standards.

The project further strengthens Forglass’s international experience in delivering complex hot repair solutions for float glass manufacturers.
