Forglass and Ardagh continue strong partnership with cold repair project in Sweden

Forglass is currently carrying out a furnace cold repair project in Sweden in cooperation with our long-standing partner Ardagh Glass Packaging. The project is another example of the successful collaboration between the two companies in maintaining high-performance glass production facilities.

The scope of work includes a complete furnace drain, followed by the cold repair of the furnace. After the repair phase, the project continues with furnace heat-up and batch charging, leading to the restart of production. Forglass specialists are also responsible for the furnace commissioning, ensuring a safe and efficient return to operation.

Projects of this scale require careful planning, strict safety standards, and close cooperation between all teams involved. The work in Limmared demonstrates once again the strong partnership between Ardagh and Forglass, built on experience, trust, and a shared commitment to operational excellence.
