Big project in trouble? FORGLASS to the rescue!
One sure sign of whom you trust is the decision on whom you call for help when you’re in trouble. This happened recently to a major glass producer when, for a variety of reasons, the construction of their new float furnace fell dangerously behind schedule and threatened significantly delaying production. The company they called in to help save the project was FORGLASS – an expert in furnace design and construction, with a reputation for solving the toughest problems. In less than a week, FORGLASS was able to mobilize a team of expert technicians and supervisors, who worked in two shifts, side-by-side with two other contractors on the project, finishing the furnace and preparing it for heat-up. FORGLASS employees were especially delegated to those areas of the project that were atypical or particularly difficult, or required quick action – and sometimes all of the above! Another characteristic that made the Polish team of FORGLASS employees stand out from the crowd was their dedication to safety standards. Glasses, helmets, vests, ear plugs, work zone safety – such obvious practices were being notoriously ignored by other subcontractors. FORGLASS employees set the standard, demonstrating that safety protocols can and must always be followed. Many subcontractors expressed their appreciation for the work standards and methods of their Polish peers. But the greatest form of appreciation came from the general contractor, who asked FORGLASS to work on other projects with them. The investor was also grateful that FORGLASS helped with the critical phase of commissioning a float furnace, urgently needed for production. Once again, the client’s experience proved that FORGLASS has set a very high bar in terms of quality of work and overall performance, especially in crisis situations.
